Stephanie Hines brings experience in both civil and criminal law to the firm. After graduating with Honors from both the University of Florida for undergraduate and the University of Mississippi School of Law, Stephanie began her career practicing civil law. During that time, Stephanie focused primarily on personal injury, medical malpractice, and social security – fighting hard for clients, and handling cases through settlements totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Stephanie then turned her attention to criminal law, to serve the community and gain trial experience. During that time, Stephanie prosecuted both misdemeanors and felony crimes, taking over 25 cases to jury verdict and securing crucial convictions.

Now a partner with Warner, Sechrest & Butts, P.A., Stephanie helps clients with matters in the following areas:

  • Construction – including (but not limited to) cases involving:
    • Lien foreclosure actions
    • Disclosure issues during the sale of a home
    • Construction defects
    • Contract reviews and disputes
  • Real Estate (Closings)
  • Personal Injury
  • Medical Malpractice
  • Civil Trial

In addition to practicing law, Stephanie is involved with the local legal community. To that end, Stephanie has served on the Board of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, is a member of the Bennett Inn of Court and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, is on the Florida Bar Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee, and is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Florida.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family. After studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Stephanie is also proficient in Spanish.

Stephanie looks forward to helping you with your civil matters!
